Celebrating a milestone: the grand opening of our new building in Spain

We are thrilled to share the highlights of a truly special day for our company. On Saturday, May 25, 2024, we celebrated the grand opening of our new building for Eco Sistema Teblick (EST) in El Far d'Empordà, Spain. The event was a wonderful success, bringing together our dedicated team, valued partners, and local community members.

The celebration began with a warm welcome to our guests. We were delighted to host many of our Belgian colleagues, who traveled to join us, as well as our Spanish team, accompanied by their families. It was an honor to see so many local suppliers, clients, and officials, including the mayor, in attendance to mark this significant occasion with us. To have our founder Robert Teblick present with us too, was very special. 

In the new office, our own Wim Teblick and Joan Barris delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing their gratitude to everyone present. They thanked our incredible staff for their hard work and dedication, which made this milestone possible. They also shared their excitement about building a bright future in this wonderful region.

Instead of the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, we invited the children to release colourful balloons, symbolising new beginnings and a focus on the future.   

We made sure our guests had the opportunity to see firsthand the efforts that went into creating this new space. Everyone was given a comprehensive tour of the new building, including our offices, warehouse, and production areas. It was a pleasure to showcase the facilities that will drive our future growth.

The festivities continued in our warehouse, where our guests enjoyed a seated lunch that featured local delicacies as well as live-cooked paella, prepared by a talented caterer who received high praise for her culinary skills. The atmosphere was vibrant!

We made sure there was something for everyone to enjoy. There was a kids’ play zone that kept the little ones entertained, while the adults got competitive with a ping pong tournament and table football. Nothing to break down a language barrier like goofing around together! It was wonderful to see everyone having a great time playing, eating, drinking, and building connections.

After the official proceedings and a delightful lunch, our team continued the celebration at a chiringuito in Empuriabrava. We spent the afternoon enjoying sports and drinks by the beautiful beach – some even went swimming! It was the perfect ending to a memorable day.

Reflecting on the event, it was more than just an opening ceremony. It was a day that brought together colleagues from different countries, friends, and family – highlighting the strong bonds and shared goals that drive us forward. We are incredibly excited about the future of Eco Sistema Teblick in Spain and look forward to achieving great things together.
